How to enable invoicing in Encyro?
In order to send invoices or secure messages/e-sign requests with payment, you need to enable invoicing in your Encyro account. This also creates your merchnt account with Helcim. Note that this feature is only available for businesses located in US and Canada. Steps:
- Log in to your Encyro account if you haven’t already.
- Ensure you’ve purchased the Pro membership. Trial membership is not sufficient. Purchase here: Upgrade to Pro
- Go to the Invoicing page by clicking Invoicing in the left menu. If you’re on a mobile device, go to the Invoicing settings page by clicking the three lines at the top left, Settings, then Invoicing.
- Click Enable invoicing near the bottom.
- Customize invoice branding and specify business information.
- Select your invoice theme and color. This will apply to all invoices you send and to your payment page.
- Upload a logo. This is optional but recommended. Logo will be displayed on your invoices, payment page, Encyro folder, and upload page (if you have one).
- Specify business registration info. Enter your legally registered business name, commonly used business name (if it is different), and the year your business was established. Then, select your company type (Incorporated, LLC, Sole Proprietorship, etc.)
- Specify business contact info. Enter your business phone number, email address, and optionally, billing address.
- Optionally, add more business details. Add information such as EIN/BN and business website.
- Select processing currency. Select whether you want to process payments in US dollars or Canadian dollars.
- Click Continue on Helcim and fill out Helcim’s short, online merchant application form.
Once you’re approved as a merchant, we’ll send you an email (typically in 1-2 days).
After approval, you may begin sending invoices and e-sign requests/files that require payment.
To send an invoice, follow the instructions here: Issue an invoice.
