Require Payment For Secure Message and File Access

You can send a secure message and files that require payment to view. Once any one recipient pays, all recipients can view the message.

This feature is useful if you are delivering final files for a project, and want to make sure payment is made before the client receives the final deliverable. You may use this for all your deliverables or selectively for deliverables sent to clients where chasing them for payments has been a hassle.

1. Ensure invoicing is enabled in your Encyro account. If not, follow these instructions: Enable Invoicing
2. Click Compose message in the left menu. (On mobile devices, click the + button at the bottom of the screen instead.)
3. Compose your message and attach files as usual.
   1. Enter the email addresses of the recipients for this message.
   2. Type your secure message and/or attach files.
   3. Add a subject for the message.
   4. Optionally, add some introductory text that will be displayed in the notification email to the recipient.
4. Click Require payment. In the dialog that opens:
   1. Specify information about the customer. This person will appear under the BILL TO heading when payment is made for the secure message (regardless of which recipient pays).
   2. Click Next.
   3. Add line items. Line items are the individual services or products that you sre billing the customer for. Click Add line item to add a line item. In the form that opens, enter the line item description, quantity, and price. Then click OK. Repeat the process for any other services or products.
   4. Click Next.
   5. Optionally, add any fees, discounts, or taxes.
   6. Click Next.
   7. Select the types of payment you wish to accept. By default, Google Pay, Credit Card, and ACH are selected.
   8. Click Next. You will be shown a success message. Click Next again. Payment requirement has now been set up for this message.
5. Send your message as usual. When a recipient views the message, they will be asked to pay, if no one has paid already.

You, as the sender, can view a sent message even before the payment has been made.
