Send an E-Sign Request, Invoice, or Secure Message Similar to a Previously Sent One Without Creating a Template

- “Send Similar” vs Templates: When and How to Use Each
Send similar
The “Send Similar” feature allows you to quickly reuse any message, invoice, or e-sign request you’ve previously sent. This eliminates the need to manually copy content or create templates - no more “I really wish I’d saved that” moments. Note that this is a Pro-only feature.
E-Signature Requests
To duplicate a sent e-signature request (not a received one):
- Find the signature request in your Encyro account.
- Click the three dots at its right.
- Click Send similar. In the form that opens, all details will be pre-filled from that e-sign request, except for signers.
- Fill in the e-mail addresses and names for the signers.
- Optionally, you may make changes to items on this screen, such as subject, files, and sender reminders.
- Click Next.
- Optionally, you may make changes to the signature boxes.
- Send the e-sign request as usual.
Secure Messages
To duplicate a sent secure message:
- Find the message in your Encyro account.
- Click the three dots at its right.
- Click Send similar. The form to compose the message will open, with all fields pre-filled from that message, except for recipients.
- Enter recipients for the message.
- Make any needed changes to the message.
- Send as usual.
Invoices
To duplicate a sent invoice:
- Find the invoice in your Encyro account.
- Click the three dots at its right.
- Click Send similar.
- In the form that opens, all details will be pre-filled from that invoice, except for customer and CC recipients.
- Fill in the customer’s info.
- Make any other needed changes and issue the invoice as usual.
When to use templates instead
The existing Save template feature still works like before. While “Send Similar” is great for one-off reuse, templates are better when you need to send a similar message, e-sign request, or invoice repeatedly. Templates save time by letting you start from a saved version, without needing to locate a previously sent item each time.
